Undergraduate Programme

BACHELOR OF DESIGN (B.DES.) This is a comprehensive undergraduate degree programme that seeks to challenge today’s physical, material and functional reality to create an innovative and sustainable life. It aims at making designers future-ready to cater to the requirements emerging from new realities driven by technological disruptions.

The programme offers majors in Space Design, Product Design, Communication Design, Fashion and Textile Design (Sustainable Innovation), Interaction Design and Transdisciplinary Design.

Structured into eight semesters, the programme offers multidisciplinary courses extending opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and exploration of other design disciplines.

Eligibility

To apply for Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme:

• Minimum 50% marks in class XII (Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination) or its equivalent examination from any stream (Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities) from Gujarat State Board or any other state’s board or CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/IB with a minimum 50% aggregate marks.
• Clear the Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT)

Postgraduate Programme

MASTER OF DESIGN ((Integrated Product Design).) This course integrates core subjects in Product Design with courses in business, entrepreneurship and technology to equip designers with a multidisciplinary approach to handle complex real-life challenges. It is designed in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania and seeks to equip students with a solutionary mindset.

Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test

What is Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT)?

Anant conducts the Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT). ADEPT is one hour long and will be conducted in English. The aptitude test will evaluate the candidate’s design aptitude, creativity, problem solving and logical skills together with general awareness. Candidates from all over the world are welcome to attempt the test.
