APICET stands for Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test which is a state level examination for admission in management programmes of Andhra Pradesh Business-Schools.

Apart from 20 Universities, APICET scores are used for admission to various management institutes across the Andhra Pradesh. APICET was conducted sucessfully on April 2018. The exam was conducted by Andhra Pradesh Integrated University of Management.

APICET eligibility criteria:

  • Candidate must be graduate in any branch or stream with minimum 55% marks from any reognized university.
  • Final year appearing student  an also apply for the entance examination but they must have the passed certificate at the time of admission 
  • Admission can be done with the pune b.tech/ba/bscc examination score.
  • Admission can also taking on the basis of cat/mat/reva mat examination score

STEP -1 : Fill application form

Candidates intrested to attend for APICET need to fill the application form. Two mode are available for this the one is offline and the second one is online. Candidates must note that they need to check the eligibility before filling the form.

The application fee for APICET is Rs 1000 which is payable through any of the following modes:

  • Credit Card
  • Debit card
  • Demand Draft 

Step 2: Download Admit Card

Admit cards will be issued to candidates who register successfully for the exam. It must be noted that the admit card is an important document, and the same needs to be carried to the exam hall. To download the admit cards candidates need to visit the official website. 

Step 3: Appear for APICET 

Candidates need to solve 100 multiple choice questions based on Quantitative Aptitude (QA) & Data Interpretation (DI), English Language & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, and General Knowledge. 

Step 4: Check Result

The result of APICET is generally declared within one month from the date of exam, and the same will be displayed on the official website. To check the result, candidates need to visit the official website and enter their login credentials. 

Step 5: Group Discussion & Personal Interview

Test-takers who clear the exam successfully will be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The final merit list of students is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained in the entrance test/National level exams, GD & PI. 

Step 6: Counselling

Once the GD & PI rounds are over, a list of shortlisted candidates is prepared by the officials. These candidates are required to attend the counselling session where verification of documents will be done. It must be noted that the presence of the candidate in person is important at the time of counselling.

The admit of APICET will be available online. The candidates can check their admit card by using login IDs. The admit card can be downloaded by entering registered email ID and password.

To download the Admit Card, you must follow the given steps:

  • Log on to Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test Board website
  • Click on APICET admit card tab
  • Enter your email ID and password
  • Click on download tab
  • The application fee of APICET examination is Rs. 1000 for Pharmacy, LE (B.Tech & Pharmacy), MBA, MCA, LE (MCA), M.Tech, M.Arch & M.Plan, Integrated MBA (5 years) and Rs. 500/- for MBA & MCA, MBA & LE-MCA, MBA & PGAT.
  • Fee payment can be done through debit/credit card or net banking.
  • Students can also make the fee payment through e-challan of SBI (State Bank of India).

APICET exam pattern is given following -

  • Type of quetion paper- Objective Type
  • Total Marks - 200
  • Negative marking - 1 mark will be deducted for 1 wrong answer
  • Total Number of question - 200
  • Total Time Duration - 1.5 hours
