Comprising of 240 questions that has to be solved in the maximum time limit of three hundred and ten minutes is necessary while you appear into the examination. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology are some common subjects that are asked into the examination. So, you need to be clear and accurate while answering them. The concept should be clear and perfect. Each correct answer would provide you with 1 mark and each wrong answer would not be counted. So, you have to be accurate and correct enough while answering. Candidates need to appear for CET in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects to secure admissions in Medical, Dental, Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy courses whereas those seeking admissions in Engineering / Technology courses conducted by KEA need to appear for entrance exams in Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects. On the other hand, Architecture course aspirants need to appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) which is conducted by the Council of Architecture.
KCET is usually spread out over two days wherein aptitude of candidates is tested in four subjects. The tests for these subjects are held in four different sessions.
Marking system :
Each paper in KCET is of 80 minutes duration and candidates can secure maximum of 60 marks in each exam.The CET has Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) wherein for every correct response candidates are awarded one mark. There is no negative marking in KCET.

Students will be able to get the KCET hall ticket 2019 through online mode only. It will be provided in the month of April 2019.
Candidates have to carry the admit card along with any of the ID proof like Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, College ID Card or 12th exam admission ticket/bus pass.
