The Full form of LSAT is Law school admission test – India, is a single common test for the multiple law colleges. It is a national level entrance exam test conducted by the Pearson VUE on the behalf of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) every year. It is a paper – pencil test conducted by the Pearson to grant the admission in the 5 years integrated LLB/LLM, LLB programs. More than 85 colleges are associated with it. It is the standardized test to evaluate the reading and the verbal reasoning skills of the candidate.
As such, there are no eligibility criteria for the LSAT – India. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of the different colleges or the law college they wish to apply. The LSAT – India eligibility criteria differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for the LSAT – India is as follows:
For BA LLB Course: Candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 examination or the equivalent one with at least 45%.
For LLM Course: Candidate must have passed the 3 year LLB or the 5 Year BA LLB with minimum 45 %.
For LLB Course: Must have passed the bachelor degree in any stream with at least 45% marks.
As such, there is no age limit for the LSAT – India examination. However, the candidates are advised to check the age limit as specified by the individual college where they wish to seek admission.

The registration process for LSAT – India 2018 has already started. You can apply online anytime as per the above mentioned scheduled. The registration will end on 4 May 2018 so; fill the LSAT- India registration form before that.
The application fees for the LSAT – India for all the candidates is Rs. 3800. There is no concession for the reserved category. The following table summarizes the application fee and other details.

The pattern for the LSAT – India is designed by the LSAC and is conducted in the offline mode in the English language.

The LSAT – India test will be conducted in the 20 cities which are divided into the zones as per their geographical locations. The exam center is selected by the candidate while filling the LSAT – India application form as per their preference. Candidates are advised to choose the test center carefully as it cannot be changed in future.

The LSAC says that the exam is conducted to evaluate the skills of the candidate and there is no need to mug up any specific topic. For the LSAT – India, there is no specific syllabus to study. There is no mathematics, no current affairs. The exam is conducted to evaluate the critical thinking and legal arguing skills of the candidate and thus, comprises of the questions based on:
ANALYTICAL REASONING
The questions are based on the structure of the relationship (things, persons or events) where they are required to draw the logical conclusion of that structure. The candidate needs to choose the right statement for the given statements.
LOGICAL REASONING QUESTIONS
The questions will analyze the ability to analyze, evaluate, complete arguments which are given in the general language. Candidate needs to read the given passage and answer the questions based on it.
READING COMPREHENSION
It evaluates the understanding of the student. It consists of the 4 set of questions based on the reading.
The candidates are advised to refer the various law books available in the market. Check the online coaching materials or the references.
The students are advised to check the eligibility criteria of their preferred college.
