Physics Wallah's Alakh Pandey to go to Supreme Court over NEET UG 2024 result controversy

10 June 2024

Alakh Pandey, CEO of the educational platform Physics Wallah, has announced his decision to approach the Supreme Court concerning the NEET UG 2024 result controversy. In a recent video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Pandey expressed his deep concerns about the irregularities reported in the NEET UG exam results, which have left lakhs of students worried and anxious.

Pandey highlighted the confusion and distress among the NEET aspirants, questioning the anomalies in the results. He stated, "After the result of NEET, lakhs of children are worried that why such strange things are happening in the result this time. We have asked NTA for a lot of answers, but we are not getting a lot of answers."

To address these concerns, Pandey has sought legal assistance and plans to send a legal notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA). "We are taking the help of Mr. Rohit and we want to send a legal notice to NTA. Mr. Rohit will tell us what process we will do next," he said.

The CEO of Physics Wallah emphasized the need for transparency, noting that recent clarifications from NTA have only raised more questions. "Yesterday there was a clarification. Instead of an answer, many more questions have been raised. And those questions have been raised for transparency," he added.

Pandey assured the students that their concerns would not be ignored and that he would take necessary legal steps to ensure justice. "We want to send a legal notice to the NTA while giving a natural justice opportunity. If we don't get the answer to those questions, then if necessary, this matter will be agitated by going to the Supreme Court," he declared.

Concluding his message, Pandey offered words of reassurance to the students, promising to stand by them until the truth is revealed. "Now don't worry at all, children. We will definitely bring the truth forward and we will stand here until it is found," he said.

There has been a growing demand from aspirants, educators, and politicians alike for a thorough investigation into the NEET UG 2024 results, ensuring that the process is fair and transparent for all aspirants.
