In keeping with the great visions of sages like Swami Dayanand and Mahatma Hansraj, D.A. V. Public School, Sreshtha Vihar came into existence in March 1989. Its infancy past off being joyfully nursed and pampered in the golden hands of its first Principal Mrs. Goldy Malhotra, under the constant guidance and help from its managing body.
The school today stands high with two twin buildings in the main campus. It has sufficient number of rooms to cater to a strong number of students (about 4000). The school boasts of having well qualified staff of 200 educators.
D.A.V..Sreshtha Vihar is a co-educational school, preparing students for the All India Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Aspire, Act, Achieve is the motto, the students live by at DAV Sreshtha Vihar. The School functions under a registered society known, as the D.A.V. College Management Committee.
