GDGPSK is another name for G D Goenka Public School. The college opened its doors in 2001. Co-ed G D Goenka Public School is a member of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The Corbett Educational Society oversees its administration.
Likewise, one that was growing in the mind of Late Shri Man Mohan Agarwal resident of Ramnagar, and an eminent Social Worker of Kumaun region. He was a man of vision and the source behind to start an Educational Institution to fulfill the academic requirement of the region. On the persistent demands of the residents of Kashipur and its surrounding places, and keeping in mind to provide modern, qualitative and value based education, the Templeton College came into existence for providing education for upliftment of the children and to awaken their dormant talents. The school was inaugurated by the first Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Hon’ble Shri Nityanand Swami ji on 19th February, 2001.
The School is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, consisting of academicians of high caliber, international background and intellectual capabilities. By the dint of sincere efforts of Teachers and students, and consistent brilliant directions of the Principal, the college is achieving 100% result in C.B.S.E. Examinations.
In the year 2018 the management of Templeton College, Kashipur, realized the need of adopting a global educational pattern for this school and so the collaboration was initiated with G D Goenka group to provide “The true Global Education” in the region. The school is now G D Goenka Public School Kashipur.
GDGPSK is spread across 5 Acres of sprawling, lush green campus. It has a Separate junior &Senior academic blocks, separate hostel for boys and girls, Cafeteria and well equipped Science & Computer Labs along with all other facilities to support this generation of educational needs.

Entrance Test
The Entrance Test center will be at GDGPSK (Kashipur). The test is to test the age specified skills in linguistics and logico-mathematical. The entrance test is held only for admission up to class 9th. For entrances to class 11th, admission is considered on the basis of the Board’s result of class 10th. Admission is subject to merit and vacancy. Students found eligible will be issued Admission Cards. The parents must deposit the Admission Card within 15days long with the payment of Demand Draft drawn in favour of GDGPSK, payable at Kashipur. If the parents on their own accord decide against sending their ward to the school after depositing the fees, they would not be entitled to a refund of any fees. This is required for two reasons. As protection for other students who intend to join the school but who may be denied a seat because of restricted number of places, as protection to the school against financial loss.
No seat will be reserved for late comers and no concession in fees will be made for any period or period of absence.
