FOUNDATION OF GIS

Established in the year 1989, the school was recognized by the Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi, and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education since 1992. It came into its present form as a residential school in 2001. The school has developed with a spirit of imparting quality education and a global vision for more than two decades. BOARDING SCHOOL

Each hostel is a self-contained, offering modern amenities, attractive, well-lit and ventilated sleeping rooms, a central courtyard, recreational area and a common room with provision of indoor games, audio-visual equipment and reading material.

The hostel has its own in-house laundry facility. A modern mess providing nutritious and hygienic food. The GIS Boarding has the capacity to accommodate a thousand students in separate hostel buildings for boys and girls. It has nine hostels: four for Senior Boys, One AC hostel, two Junior Boys hostels and two Girls hostels. The boarders share the campus with about fifty faculty members and their families which provide a congenial environment.
