FOUNDATION OF GIS

Established in the year 1989, the school was recognized by the Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi, and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education since 1992. It came into its present form as a residential school in 2001. The school has developed with a spirit of imparting quality education and a global vision for more than two decades. BOARDING SCHOOL

Each hostel is a self-contained, offering modern amenities, attractive, well-lit and ventilated sleeping rooms, a central courtyard, recreational area and a common room with provision of indoor games, audio-visual equipment and reading material.

The hostel has its own in-house laundry facility. A modern mess providing nutritious and hygienic food. The GIS Boarding has the capacity to accommodate a thousand students in separate hostel buildings for boys and girls. It has nine hostels: four for Senior Boys, One AC hostel, two Junior Boys hostels and two Girls hostels. The boarders share the campus with about fifty faculty members and their families which provide a congenial environment.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

I to VIII - Studentsâ€™ interaction based on the subjects knowledge of previous class subjects i.e. English, Hindi, Mathematics, G.Sc.
IX - Written Entrance Test on the basis of previous class on subjects i.e. English, Mathematics, Science, S.S/t.
XI - Till the declaration of Board result, provisional admission based on the performance of students in Pre board Exams till the board result it declared. Thereafter on merit of board result as decided by the school.

FEE POLICY

Rules Regarding Payment of Fee:

Fee should be deposited quarterly in the months of April, July, October and January.
Fee should be deposited preferably by cheque/draft.
Fee must be deposited by the 10th of the relevant month of the quarter.
A late fee fine of Rs.15/- per day will be charged with effect from 11th to the last working day of the relevant month of the quarter.
If the fee is not paid by the last working day of the relevant month of the quarter the name of the student will be struck off the school rolls.
No amount is refundable at the time of withdrawal even if the child has not attended the school for a single day.
The Cheque/Draft for the School Dues has to be made in the name of Ganga International School.
Transport Charges will be taken in accordance to the distance and will be charged separately.
Boarding &s; lodging will be charged separately.

NOTE :

The fee may be paid in the school office on all working days from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm by Cheque/Draft.
Tuition Fee and other charges for the whole year can also be paid in the month of April.
Please mention the Admission Number of the students in all communications to the school office.
Absence without leave will incur a fine as ` 10 per day for classes LKG- VIII and ` 20 per day for classes IX â€“XII.
