About

Originating in the Tibetan Plateau, in the vicinity of Lake Mansarovar, River Indus runs through the Ladakh region of Jammu & Kashmir. It flows towards Gilgit and Baltistan, and then south, along the entire length of Pakistan. Eventually, it merges into the Arabian Sea near the port city of Karachi in Sindh, spanning a distance of 3,180 kilometres. The Indus sustains life and the economies of the regions it flows through. India derives its name from the Sanskrit word 'Sindhu', the ancient name for River Indus.

Travelling ahead in time, in January 2002, on the banks of River Indus at Leh, Lt. General Arjun Ray, PVSM, VSM (Retd.), a visionary par excellence drafted the Vision of a school, a Vision encompassing and nurturing as the River Indus itself. And out of his foresight and conviction of thought, based on universalism of human values, was established the Indus International School Pune, on 14th July, 2003.

Admission Procedure

Indus International School Pune firmly believes in creating leaders from tomorrow by preparing students’ for a future we do not know.

While most students will join school at the beginning of every academic year, we understand that some may not be able to do so. Based on the availability of seats, we are happy to admit students throughout the year.

The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, gender or national origin. We do, however, limit the number of students based on our capacity to provide required learning support individually.

For the admission to be approved by the Admissions Authorization Board, the Candidate must complete and submit the Online Admission Application Form, which includes

Candidate’s details.
Submission of Passport for foreign nationals or AADHAR Card for Indian nationals for the purpose of identity verification.
Submission of past two years of scholastic records along with mid-term transcripts or any other academic reports of the current academic session.
Submission of Birth Certificate for the purpose of age verification.
