I.B.School was established in 1999 by our founder Mr. Amarjit Dhull

IB School, part of IB Educational Society is a co-educational day and day boarding school for students aged 3–18 years. Learning at I B School is an exciting adventure, full of opportunities for personal development, achievement and enjoyment. From Pre-Prep to Sixth Form we offer an education for life, giving our students the knowledge, skills and values they need to create their own success as thoughtful and confident individuals in the world beyond.

We believe that truly excellent education is about more than academic achievement alone: it is also about developing a passion for learning, capacity for independent thinking, moral values, self-confidence without arrogance, and genuine interests that extend beyond the confines of the classroom. We believe that the virtues of tolerance, understanding, respect and courtesy really matter. We strive to ensure that our students have an understanding of their place in society – locally, nationally and globally – and seek to make a positive impact upon it.

Our aim is to ensure every student`s aspirations, capabilities, interests and talents are recognized, nurtured and celebrated. We pride ourselves on our academic standards, extra-curricular provision and pastoral care. The students value their dedicated and experienced teachers and the whole school community is justifiably proud of its excellent academic achievements and examination results.

Looking at the stature of I.B. School today, it is hard to believe that its magnificence is the culmination of the hard efforts of the Founder Mr. Amarjeet Dhull and the Director Mr. Ajit Dhull who showed indomitable courage and fortitude to rise against tremendous adversities on their way.

Mission

The mission of I.B.School has not only been academic excellence but also the integral growth of the students so that their hidden talents, capabilities and qualities would bloom to build a better tomorrow.

Annual Function

I.B. School organizes Annual Function every year. It is a blend of activities related to academics, sports, yoga and fine arts. We serve with a multicolored extravaganza of classical and folk dances, group songs, dance drama and lively performances of tiny tots with a yoga demo. These wide ranging activities are aimed at the all-round development of students.

National Function

Every year school celebrates Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Students participate in different activities like Poster making, Patriotic songs, Patriotic Dance & cultural programs very enthusiastically. Many competitions like poem recitation are also organized.

Class Room Activities

School plans month wise class activities such as calligraphy, Talent search, Face Mask making, EVS Quiz, Origami, Diya and candle decoration etc. Students participate and exhibit their ideas with creativity. These activities are organized to imbibe the virtues of discipline, team spirit, leadership and to nurture creativity in class room.

Sports Meet

Every year `Sport Meet` is organized in sports complex of school. Various sports events both indoor and outdoor games are organized during this meet. Almost all students participate. This meet stands apart for its vibrancy of the involvement of students from beginning to the end. Virtues like obedience, discipline, team spirit in students are given priority. They emerge confidence and competence and forge commitment with others for the achievement of common goals in the field of sports.

Excursion

Annually school plans excursions for a team students along with teachers. These trips and tours are planned to some places of historical values so that students can get familiar with such values and life style, culture and colours of other parts of country.
