The school was started in 1961 as an English Medium Co- Educational School. The school is recognized by the Educational Department of the Govt. of West Bengal. Efforts are being made to open Higher Secondary Department. Ideals and traditions have been built up through the years and the school trains the students to become useful citizens of our motherland, India. For facilitating individual attention, the number of pupils in a class is limited. Special attention is given to the moral tone and discipline of the School. Admission Procedure

1. All admissions to school are subject to an admission test according to age and standard.

2. A candidate who has attended any school cannot be admitted without a Leaving Certificate from the school last attended.

3. Transfer Certificates may be given on payment of all dues and transfer fee. Before withdrawing a student from the school, a month's notice is to be given or a month's fee is to be paid.

4. A student seeking Transfer Certificate any time from January onwards, will have to clear all the dues upto the end of the Academic Session (April).

5. A student failing twice in a class in the annual examination is not allowed to continue studies in the school. Fees for the end of the session need to be paid before the Answer scripts for Annual Examination are shown to the students. The last date for payment will be notified well ahead of time.
