The YMCA Centenary School and College a co-ed English Medium School was founded by Mr. B. T. Masih in July, 1992. It is one of the most renowned educational institutions of Allahabad. It is built on a 4 acre lush green campus in the heart of the city on 13, Sarojini Naidu Marg, Allahabad. Started with a strength of 13 students it is now 1600 strong from Classes KG-I to XII. The school has been expanding continuously in its scope and range of activities. Our curriculum, instruction and assessment follows the directives set forth in our strategic plan, laid down by the CBSE, CCE educational patterns & norms. 1. Formal Admission Is Complete Only After The Application Form Has Been Considered By The Admission Committee, The Parent Shall Be Informed Of Their (Committee's) Decision. The Decision Of The Admission Committee Would Be Final And Binding. An Admission Card Signed By The Principal Would Be Issued Thereafter. Ordinarily, This Is Done After An Interview/Admission Test. 2. The School Management And Admission Committee, Reserves The Right To Refuse Admission To Any Student Without Furnishing Any Reasons. Recommendation Will Not Be Considered And Donations Not Accepted. 3. The Name And Date Of Birth Of A Pupil As Recorded In The Admission Register Cannot Be Changed. Parents Are Advised To Give Correct Date Of Birth And Spelling Of Pupil's Name, At The Time Of Admission. 4. No Pupil From Another School Will Be Admitted To The School Without The Transfer Certificate, Report Card/ Original Mark Sheet From The Last School, Which He/She Attended. He/She Is Also Required To Appear For Entrance Test. A Pupil Coming From Another State Should Have His/Her TC Countersigned By The Concerned Counter Signing Authority Of The Board. 5. Pupils Leaving The School In The Middle Of Term Must Give One Month's Notice Or One Month's Fee In Lieu Thereof Shall Be Changed. 6. Application For Transfer Certificate Shall Be In Writing To The Principal By The Parent Or Guardian Of The Pupil. Rs. 100/- Will Be Charged For The Issue Of A TC. 7. The T.C. After The Report Card Must Be Applied Immediately And Before The Commencement Of The New Session, Otherwise One Term Fees Shall Have To Be Paid For Such T.C. 8. The School Management, May Direct Withdrawal Of A Pupil Who Fails For Two Consecutive Years In The Same Class. 9. The School/College Is Not Liable To Refund Admission Fee/Tuition Fee. 10. Admission Form Is Non-Transferable.
