Getting admission to a university located in your own country is easy, but the same process is quite tricky for foreign students. It is mainly because as a resident of the country, one knows about the admission process, intake fess, and other essential required information, but this does not apply when you are applying to an international university. Every university has its norms and conditions for admission and as well the time of intake. However, the time of intakes may also vary the institution, course, and the country where you are seeking admission. Almost in every region of the country, the Intake times of universities are different.

But like many other European universities, Ukrainian universities also invite candidates in two phases in a year. If a student wishes to enroll in a master's degree or a preparatory course etc., then intake for such courses is open for a whole year. But if you wish to participate in a bachelor's degree program, then you can take admission in one of the two phases in a year. Most of the Ukrainian universities begin their first intake between September 1st - November 15th, and the second intake begins from February and lasts till the 15th. The application deadline for both intakes is November 1st and April 1st, respectively.

It is also better to know about the volume of students concerning the courses studying in Ukraine. According to the data published by the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine, around 90% of the total intake of Ukrainian universities is occupied by international students enrolled in bachelor's degree courses. And the students of preparatory and postgraduate courses are few, i.e., 6.4% and 2.2% respectively. Thus it is advisable to start the admission procedure as soon as you get an invitation letter from the university.
