M. S. Cardiothoracic Surgery or Master of Surgery in Cardiothoracic surgery is a two-year post-graduate surgery course in the field of medicine which involves the treatment of diseases through surgery affecting organs inside the chest (thorax), heart, and lungs. This course focuses on training candidates towards acquiring high stake specializations to treating heart conditions through surgery.
Performing Cardiac surgery at the secondary and tertiary levels with proficiency in the basic and applied clinical sciences, Cardiac intensive care, Cardiac surgical care, Emergency medicine, etc are all concentrated on during the course tenure, and complete knowledge and skills required for the same are imparted to the students.
