About Public Schools

These schools use modern educational technology and a team of qualified educators to develop intelligence, social behavior, physical abilities and emotional quotient of children. They are groomed into useful and responsible citizens of the society with the correct attitude and grit to face challenges in a competitive environment.

These schools follow a CBSE or State curriculum in English or Marathi medium of instruction. The grant for these schools is provided by the state, central or local government and the teaching faculty and heads of these institutions are selected by the government.

Students are given education for free or by charging a nominal fee. Parents posted to places without the option of private schools, belonging to a low-income group or having a language problem in private schools opt for educating their children in public schools where vernacular language is still used for an explanation of teaching.
