About the Programme B.A. in Mathematics Course

B.A in Mathematics is an undergraduate degree course. The course spans a period of 3 years.  A B.A in Mathematics includes the study of mathematical principles, theories, measurements, properties, relationships of quantities, and the application of Mathematics in the field of humanities and social sciences. Apart from B.A. in mathematics, a person can also pursue a B.Sc. in Mathematics. Both the degrees have the same core subject, the main difference lies in their orientation towards the application of mathematics. While B.A. in Mathematics studies the application of Mathematics in social sciences, B.Sc. in Mathematics studies the application of Mathematics in physical sciences. B.A. in mathematics is suitable for students who are interested in the field of social sciences.
