About the Programme B.Sc Nursing Course

B.Sc. Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a 4-year under graduation course which trains candidates to become healthcare professionals who can take care of individuals, families, and communities in maintaining optimal health conditions and good quality of life right from the stage of conception till death.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Nursing Course

  • B.Sc.(Basic) – Candidates should pass 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and should be medically fit, this programme for all students who have cleared class 12th with the science stream.
  • B.Sc.(Post-Basic) – Candidates should pass 10+2 in PCB. Those who have passed 10+1 are also eligible for admission. The student must have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) with the State Nurses Registration Council
  • The minimum age at least 17 years and the maximum age limit for the course is at 35 years.
  • Candidates must obtain a 45% aggregate score in the qualifying exam.
